Island Travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands

Airline Itinerary

1. Things you'll need to have and know when traveling to the U.S Virgin Islands - You will need a passport unless you are a U.S. citizen. Also, if you are a U.S. citizen you won't need to exchange your currency because they use the U.S. dollar as well.

2. Places to stay on the island - There are multiple places you can stay such as hotels or if you would like a more private stay you could rent out a studio house that faces the Atlantic ocean and they are relatively well priced for the however long you wish to stay. (This link includes rental options for a beautiful one bedroom studio on the Atlantic with trade winds and a view) https://www.vrbo.com/745225?CID=a_ph_6&adultsCount=2&arrival=2021-06-28&cid=l_ha3pd-affiliate-6_&departure=2021-07-05&gx-currency=USD&k_clickid=1011leSUPr6F&unitId=1293163&utm_campaign=hometogo_1101l2223&utm_content=com%3Aholidayhomes%3Acoresearch%3An&utm_medium=partner&utm_source=aff_ph

3. Where to go - There are many attractions and sights to see in the U.S. virgin islands but I will name a few to get the tourists started on their own journey's - Coral World Ocean Park is an underwater coral observatory if you are into sea life and just life underwater in general this is definitely something you would want to try out.
Magens Bay Beach stretches out for about three miles and is relatively well protected it is one of the most popular tourist attractions on the island. They offer many things such as paddle boarding, beach chairs, floats and lounge chairs, etc. The area is always calm and a good area to bring the family for a day at the beach or if you just want to relax by yourself.

BlackBeard's Castle - It is one of five historical landmarks located in the Virgin Islands on St. Thomas. Many people go and do the entire tour around learn all about Blackbeard himself. After you climb 103 steps you'll reach the top and there is a view that you cannot get anywhere else.

4. What to do - There are multiple beaches you can visit but I would visit Magens Bay as it is the nicest and most popular they offer a wide selection of services to make your time there more enjoyable. Snorkeling isn't really an option here as the sandy bottom won't show you much sea life. If you enjoy thrilling adventures and are of the age then I would say renting a jet ski is one way to pass time as an adult and still have fun. There are multiple jet ski rental services although you will need to have a license to drive one or be of the certain age. I have done this twice in my life and each time it is just as fun if not more fun than the time before. I would also check out the cities and see the nightlife on the island because it can be totally different than what most are used to in the U.S.

5. Cost - As most people know traveling is not cheap and requires you to have a good amount of money ready ahead of time so you can have the most fun. On average a week long trip to the U.S. virgin islands for one person will cost you around $1,132. It increases if you plan to add more people for two people a week long trip will cost them roughly $2,264. So if you are planning to travel to the U.S. virgin islands anytime soon I would recommend to save more than the trip costs so then you can have a good time and not have any problems concerning money.
